Guest Mr. Solutions
Hi
I need some advise on keeping my Light Pull KNob switch from coming loose all the time. I am not referring to the back (hidden) part of it, but the crome knob used to switch them on / off and turn on the dash lights etc.
No matter how many times I tighten the little screw with my allen key, after a max. of 2 weeks it starts working loose, and eventually doesn't grip any more & I have to tighten her again.
None of the other switches / pull knobs exhibit this problem, but then again, none of them really get used as much as the light knob.
Any advise to stop this from occurring?
Thanks in advance
Guest Albert
Try removing the grub screw and drill a small dimple into the shaft to take the grub screw then tighten the grub screw, and maybe use the non permanent locktight and if room permits put a second grub screw in after the frist.
