Stan W.
I'm looking to buy a '36 sedan in the next few months. Short of measuring the wheelbase can someone tell me how to identify the exact model.
Thanks
Guest
Open the hood, and look at the data plate on the passenger side (right-hand side) of the firewall. It should have "MOD. #___" or "Model #___. The 40 series is the Special, the 50 corresponds to the Super series (but I don't think they called them Supers in 1936), the 60 series is the Century (some people feel these are the most desireable models), the 70 series is the Roadmaster, and the 90 series is the big Limited (but, again, I don't think they called them "Limiteds" in 1936).
Pete Phillips
BCA#7338
Ector, TExas
Stan W.
Thanks Pete, this should make it very easy for me to know exactly what model I'm seeing.
