Except for the 16v, the TC is generally very easy to work on. Any mechanic should be able to take care of it for you.Larry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TwinCamFan Posted March 14, 2004 Share Posted March 14, 2004 I am going to concurr with Larry on this one, Timing the 8V TC motor takes about 3 minutes,Setting it on my 16V last week took almost two hours and I burned my arm something fierce!BTW Larry, do they want us to pull the intake manifold to do any 'serious' distributer or fuel rail work work?
