Guest
Something I have noticed in the past weeks is there seems to be a glut of people parting out TC's all at once. Heck there is even a right headlight on ebay right now for under $200 with 2 days left. For being rare cars, there are sure alot of em that have surfaced that are being parted out. ghostymosty
That is partly because you can get over $4000 by parting out an unwrecked TC but buyers are looking to buy one at LeBaron prices. Someone called me Thursday to ask about my TC (recycler ad) but immediately stated they could get a red 89 with the same low miles (47,000) and no damage for $4200 from a lady. I told him to grab it fast and he said "so you don't see yourself going that low?". My ad was $5800 including the spare parts and the service and parts manuals which I told him was negotiable but not by that much. Sheesh, $4000 will barely get you a drivable economy car at a dealer these days! I'm just glad that I am not in the position of 'having' to sell my car, it would just make my life a little easier right now.
TwinCamFan
Again Ghosty, my advice is to hold your car until better days, then you'llbe glad you have an upscale car for weekends and cruise days.
