Centurion
Lamar, thanks for sharing this. I've always been fascinated by the Buick Flxibles, but have only seen two "in the flesh". A few months ago, I obtained a couple of Flxible factory photos of '59 Buick hearses and ambulances.Among the items currently offered by AutoLit, I thought that this photo was especially interesting. It shows Buick Flxible ambulances from '62, '60, and '61, as well as an early '50's Packard Henney. Speaking of the Flxibles, I've seen photos of the Buick Flxibles built from the mid-1930's through 1952 and again for the 1959 through 1965 period. I wonder why Flxible built no professional cars during the 1953 through 1958 period. We saw Buick National-bodied ambulances from 1957 and 1958 in Flint. Has anyone seen a 1953 - 1956 Buick ambulance or hearse of any description?
