poci1957 Posted February 18, 2004 Share Posted February 18, 2004 Those are all sufficent sources for wire on and windlace. Are you trying to match leather or a special fabric? If so, you can have some of your own leather made into wire on. Years ago there was (I think) an Enfield Restorations in Enfield CT that could take your leather and make it into windlace and thin material to make cordwelt. I'm sure I will not be able to get an exact match for the original. This was a plush-type cloth with a zig-zag pattern.There are a couple of different samples that I received from the mentioned suppliers that would work OK, I'm trying to see if anybody has any other suggestions.Thank You for your response.
