ghostymosty
OK, time is up and this unemployed guy needs a small truck to get work. Can't believe this 47,000 mile TC won't sell for more than parts value. OK, I looked at the above line for a few minutes and just can't do it. Someone trying to sell theirs for $12,000 and I get no interest at $5200 or at $4700 just has me frustrated. Can't find work installing network wiring since companies in SoCal expect you to provide your own work vehicle. With a work vehicle I can subcontract and don't need those companies! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />Guess I need to go to lurk mode until I'm in a better mood. TwinCamFan
I have been down and out too but you have an advantage, you have a usable skill!! If you really just need transportation, I did a Recyclerclassifieds search and found 6 running Toyota trucks under $500. I only searched one brand! There are plenty of useable trucks out there cheap, borrow the $$ or put it on a credit card and GO GET THE WORK YOU KNOW HOW TO DO. Then, when the money comes in, drive and enjoy your TC and be glad you couldn't find abuyer. When you do start enjoying your triple black, bring it to our Shelby Dodge/turbo Dodge/FWD Chrysler meetings. You won't be the only TC there!
sg3
David,Don't part out the TC. That's almost a crime. I bought an '89 with 32K miles for $9K last summer. Yours has got to be worth at least that much. Follow TwinCamFan's advice and find yourself a beater truck and go earn a living. Then enjoy your TC in better times. ghostymosty
I was able to sell my TC but had to do a near giveaway on the parts I've collected including the softtop glass and center armrest that I just got. Let the service manual go with the car so I can't reference it anymore to help anyone out. I did keep my 91 factory parts manual so I can look up part numbers still, and just in case I get another TC after things get better for me. I'm staying a member of the group and getting emails just so I can miss the car more each day.GhostriderRiverside, CA triple black 91 has a new home
TwinCamFan
Hope the new owner is an enthusiast, are they local? Maybe they would like to come to our Shelby Dodge/turbo Chrysler meetings. Can you let them knowthem know about our growing base of enthusiasts? I have more info if anyone wants it.
