Guest Shaffer
The turn signals on my 92 Buick seem to blink very slow. Much slower than I have seen other Park Avenues blinking. I removed the old flasher- which I think was original and replaced it with a "BUSS" flasher. It flashes a little faster now, but I can barely hear it blink and it seems like when doing a lane change- it takes longer for it to initially come on. The old one was very audible, but just too slow. Should I go to the GM dealer and get a new one and trash the "BUSS" flasher? How come some of the GM cars have fast blinking signals, while others have slow blinking ones? What in there "decides" how fast it will flash? I would like to have one that flashes a little fast, and I think they are more noticable. I know that on import cars, that the signals flash very fast if a bulb is out, but that is not the case on the older GM cars. Thanks for any information. ALSO- I STILL cannot figure out how to change the front side marker light bulb. Someone said something about removing a panel, but the only thing there is a metal piece over that bulb and it looks like the lens does not remove. What am I looking over?
