Brrr! I hope that Clipper is well sealed up. Or do you count on the snow to do the sealing?

Here's the snow (NOT) in Pahrump, NV:

That picture was taken on Jan 15, 2004. Sorry that it's of my Firebird, but I don't have a circa picture of my Pat since it lives in the garage to keep away from the dust.

Albert, You have that right. We have about 3 feet of the stuff on the ground and my wife is getting ticked off with the fact her daily driver 1997 Ford CV sits covered in snow most mornings in the driveway and the Packard is dry and cosy in the garage. She vows that next year the Packard will be outside....we'll see.. but she usually wins. Here's photo of my old "Swedish Brick" at -30C

You complain and complain but yet you stay in it. I complained 19 years ago and got the bloody well out of it. It would take 6 very healthy clydsdales to drag me back to that garbage, don't miss it and don't even want to see pictures of it. To me pictures of it are classified as obscene.

Alk, If Canada would only annex the southern US we would be able to pack up and head south also. I've lived in the north country most of my life and it does have certain advantages ( no hurricanes for one) one of them being that we like most human beings still have something to complain about.... like the weather. !

P.S. Sorry if the photos offend you!

AL: I will take a few very short months of winter weather any time, over the STINKIN HOT HUMMID DAYS OF SUMMER IN THE SOUTH, where you live. In about 2 1/2 months I will have my car out of storage and driving it with my grandson riding shotgun. By that time this winter will be just naother fadded memory.

"STINKIN HOT HUMID DAYS OF SUMMER"??

Why do you thik God let us invent air-conditioning? As for 2 1/2 months of summer, thats preferable to 6 1/2 months of snow, ice, drizzle, sleet and freezing temps so cold, the eskimos cry uncle. While your hudded in your warrens and dens like rodents, i'm out in one of my ragtops improving my tan.

It is a proven fact(I proved it) that you can drop the top on your convertible at least one day every month of the year, here in the south. As for hurricanes(himmacanes for the P.C folks), and tornadoes are iffy any where down here, you MAY get one you may not, it's a lot like earth-quakes, but when was the last time youze guys did not have snow and freezing temps from NOV. to APRIL. Come on down, got plenty of mint juleps, shorts and short sleeved t-shirts.
