1953 Hydraulic window parts

This is just an educated guess, because I have never worked on the hydraulic power windows in a '53 Skylark, but I have worked on them in other '53 GM cars. Since the Skylark's door and windows are "cut down" or not as tall as the Super and Roadmaster, my thinking is that the hydraulic ram, return spring, and mounting frame from the other cars would work, the stops will simply be in a different place, and the action of the hydraulic ram will be limited by the stops at the end of the track. Therefore, the hydraulic ram simply would not have to travel as far in the Skylark, even if it came out of a Roadmaster. Actually, on second thought, the Skylark's door is not as tall as the Roadmaster, but the windows may be the same height, so it is probably not as much of a problem as I figured.

Perhaps a '53 Skylark owner can shed some more light on this?
