Guest Posted January 15, 2004 Share Posted January 15, 2004 Does anyone know where the remote keyless entry box is located on the 1990 Olds 98 Touring Sedan? When I bought the car, it had both sets of original GM keys, but no keyless fobs. I have original window sticker and it says remote keyless was installed. I know where I can purchase a fob, but I need to know where the box is so I can program it. BTW, to program, you take the extra wire that does not connect to anything, ground it to something metal in the car, and press unlock button twice to program, correct? The reason it's so important is that I can get a new fob for this car for $5.00 up until tomorrow, and the dealer wants $70.00 for the exact same thing, plus the cost of programming it.
