Guest
I also started geting all the inside lights replaced yesterday the one under the dash by the radio works fine, but the rear reading lights dont so i checked the bulbs. They were both burnt out,so i replaced them but they still dont work any suggestions maybe no power going there. But that had to be at one time to have both bulbs burnt out right? Guest Albert
See if you have power at the sockets, these are a dual contact base and get there power (at least on the 54) up throught the passanger side windshield piller as well as there ground. Do you have a switch on the door piller?
Guest
Yeah the switch seems to be ok because the front dome light under the dash worksso im guessing the switch is ok...I will check for power at the socket thanks...
Guest imported_PackardV8
Is there a switch on the DOOR PILLAR????? Right next to the drivers left shoulder. This switch operates the REAR dome as well as switches in the REAR doors.

Guest Albert
Check the wires comming out of the passanger side door piller, where they join the under dash wiring harness, and the passanger side door pin switch.
