Guest
I have a 1935 Pontiac Silver Streak 2 suicide door sedan with a slant back. The engine is a straight-six. I have the title and historical vehicle registration and the vin # 1s 1935-5. I also have the original owner's manual and almost all the original parts plus spares to restore this car...What I don't have is any information regarding this vehicle. I have had one source tell me that there was only 10 of the straight-8 models built and 114 of the straight-6 built and it may be an Australian car. I need to find what I can on this car before I decide to sell it. Thank you. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Guest
According to 'The Standard Catalogue of Pontiac" Your Pontiac is a Deluxe Series 701-A Six. There were a total of 32,086 of these built in 7 different body types. If yours is a 2 dr sedan is should be a Model 2101AA. By the way "Silver Streak" which was a styling trend from 35-55 was never officially used by GM.Happy hobbying
