Guest spongebob
OK, im on my way out to the cold garage to find the leak in my hydraulic unit..heres the rub, i replaced the pump inlet hose and elbow a few weeks ago in an attempt to cure a nasty fluid leak..didnt work !! i spit shined the unit in hopes of finding the source of the leak, but all i can tell is that the leak seems to be comming from the pump and motor assembly..i have changed the o-ring on the pressure switch, and put a thread sealer on the threads..its not comming from there..when i run my fingers between the cast iron part( the mounting bolt goes through) that the pressure switch screws into and the motor, thats where i get fluid..again, its not comming from the pressure switch...i havent driven the car, the leak appears to be comming from in front of the area where the elbow goes into the unit..any ideas??
