Guest
Hi all. I have a photo of an electric car parked in front of my house about 90 years ago. Someone said it was a 1914 Baker Electric, but everything I am able to pull off the internet shows no scalloped windows as this one does (or rather did). Thanks for the help. 1937hd45
Welcome to the Forum! I thought this would be easy,I looked through all the electrics listd in The Standard Catalog of Amercan Cars, none have the curved tops on the windows. The Columbus comes closest, but is not a match.

Chris Paulsen
I agree, I thought it would be easy. It does bear some similarities to a Hupp-Yeats. What do you think?Chris
1937hd45
Just went through all the little Floyd Clymer Scrapbooks, and found it in Number 5 on page 113. It is a 1912 Columbus, nice illistration, not a photo, but the curved window tops are there and the small front windows. I wonder if the AACA Library has a copy of catalog #64-E for the 1912 Columbus? Guest
Dear Chris,Thank you for your help. I'll follow up on the Columbus. The photo was supposed to have been taken in 1919, but I have suspected it was earlier. If you look closely, you can see the lady of the house is posing inside the car indicating it was probably rather new at the time.Regards,Sherlock (working on another important case)
