I saw this on the Buick forum and due to the wonderful response thought it would be great to open one here! So how old are you and your cars??

I am 47. My '77 Eldorado is 26 and my '47 Cadillac 6269 sedan is 56.

Special thanks to ***DONOTDELETE*** and all of the Buick members for this one!!

Are we talking mentally or physically here? <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

My mind tells me I'm 18.

My joints tell me I'm 118.

My birth certificate tells me I'm 57 (but what does it know?)

My VW Transporter Panelvan is 30 or 31

(it looks like a 73 but is titled as a 72 for some reason)

My box of parts that thinks it's a 68 VW Beetle is 35.

Does that all add up? (Math never was my strong point.)

my birth cert says - 12-21-64

I'm 38

my car: 1904 Curved Dash Olds - 99yrs olds

1930 Cadillac - 73 yrs old

all together that's 210yrs - square root of that and I'm as old as Ken - 18?! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'll break the trend & add a photo (from a recent vacation this summer. I'm wearing the yellow shirt) Actually I broke 2 trends - I'm the first 30 something to post <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

1960 Jaguar Mk IX Saloon is 43

1981 Mustang is 22

Well that about does it for us... I'm lucky, Colleen loves the cars as much as I do, and will even work on them too!

I am 56, owned the '72 TR6 for 31 years (since new).

(After that Sadie Sack lady told me, SalG, and, Diz to get a life at the Hershey DF meeting, I know I'll feel younger tomorrow. Diz suggested I go to the store to buy a life. When I ask the Wal-Mart Greeter where the "get a life department" is, it will probably be Sadie.)

I'm sure glad I missed that DF meeting. You guys haven't acted right since you've been home. Can't post all those ages yet, my calculator's broke. I'll handfigure it out by the weekend. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Got to take these shoes off! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> Wayne

While Wayne is resting his feet, I'll give you a clue as to his age...

He has me beat by 2 weeks, or, so. As I respect my elders, I will let Wayne formally answer the question.

I'll be celebrating the 21st anniversary of my 39th birthday in December and my Packard will be 57 in March 2004. If I'd known that I was going to live this long I woulda taken better care of myself! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Oops... Colleen pointed out that my memory is failing... I left out the following ages...

1981 Wells Cargo 22' Enclosed Trailer is 22 years old

1984 Jaguar XJ6 VD is 19 years old

And that doesn't count the spare engines, parts, and parts for cars I don't even, nor ever have owned (like the 39/40 Cadillac parts, the 30's Ford Flathead Parts, the Vette Parts, the GTO Parts... well you get the picture...)

Rich

PS: Is it too early for the memory to go?

I am still here Peter, I just didn't have much to say and thought I would keep my mouth shut and see if I can learn anything. I don't think I can hold any more in this little brain so I had to let some thoughts go!
