Guest boettger
RKS, Are you talking about the pot metal mounting to the rear of the generator like on a 1923 Chevrolet?I've got a '23 Chevy with a crubmly pot metal piece. Have been looking for 10 years for that piece. I just about to get a hunk of aluminum billett and start hogging one out. Please report back here if you find a source! Jan Arnett
My 1924 Star with a continential engine has a similar problem. Check tow motors and fork lifts. Some of these engines still have this arraingement. I will see if I can find the information on what tow motor my housing came off of.Jan
Guest 10RA84
Hi,Do you have anything left of your old distributor? Our distributor was broken into pieces and we had to cast a new distributor core. First we glued together all remaining pieces and reshaped some missing corners using chemical metal. Then this "pattern" was taken to a casting shop and a new distributor core was casted. Then the necessary holes were drilled and voilá, the distributor was done! Sounds easy? No, the whole project was very painful, but also very rewarding!Jyrki
