Amphicar BUYER
I knew about the Aquada 5 years ago. It is a very cool "Boat with wheels". Technically it really isn't an amphibious car. I say that because it has no top, no doors and no side windows, just like a boat. If it had these things, I would say it meets the definition of an amphibious car. They also try to claim that "No amphibious car ever went faster than 7 knots" This is not true, several have been able to 25+ on the water. None went into production. But a cooler true amphibious car is from a company here in the USA called the Water Car based on a camaro platform. I'm real excited about this one!John

Amphicar BUYER
René Pohl (personal friend of Hans Trippel, the designer of the AMphicar), one of our webbed-toed friends across the pond in Germany has a great page with lots and lots of Amphibious vehicles from 1800's on to present day. Or just go to www.schwimmauto.de for lots of cool-ness.John
Guest imported_SKYSTHELIMIT
Amphibious Motorhomes! Who would of thought? I loved the home built jobs. Wonder how many of them are at the bottom of a lake. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> The one big yellow one near the end (think it was the 2001) that looks like a Jaguar crossed a Land Rover was the coolest. Thanks Amphicar
