This would make a nice Christmas gift for the wife. I can just see the expression on her face now Christmas morning. There was a company that used to advertise in the back of Old Car's Weekly last year that made these tables from prewar engines. In fact the table he pictured was from a 39 Buick engine that was in nice shape but removed for a street-rod project.

I used to know a guy who totaled his first car (no idea any more what it was), then kept it for some time before realizing there was no saving it. He had it crushed into a block, lowered into his basement (while they were building it) and is a rather heavy table never to leave!
