pilot ray lights, What that?

Recommended Posts

The URL http://www.donsommer.com/aa/catalog5.html has a description of pilot ray lights:

Pilot Ray Lights...

......it automatically lights the turns and curves ahead by turning with the steering mechanism.

Pilot Ray lights are the most unique of classic era accessories. They were originally so expensive that they were used only on a few of the best cars. They mount above the bumper and turn with the wheels. They add that finishing touch to your quality restoration. These lights are made in two sizes and several styles of heads including a new style with junior heads to match 1928-1928 Fords and many V-8 Fords. Senior lights (8") are generally used on classics and other large cars. Junior lights (7') are used on smaller cars.

Hope this helps.
