Reatta
Fantastic product but MUST BE APPLIED PROPERLY...."In short the Teflon resin MUST be applied at 640 degree to "sinter" to the surface, ie bond with the surface. So unless your car is literally on fire when it's applied it will do nothing. Can the telfon resin be wiped onto an automotive finish? Yes. Will it play any role in protecting that finish? No. It's just more marketing mumbo jumbo designed to fool unsuspecting people into spending their money."See also "snake-oil" and "fairy dust".Now if you want a shine and protection ... Either Zaino or Klasse AIO and SG use together. Optional 5 Star Shine flamethrower applicator. From an old issue of Professional Carwashing & Detailing magazine, January, 1989, page 110. "Dupont several years ago released a press statment about their trade mark product Teflon. In a nutshell, they said the Teflon added nothing to waxes or polishes as Teflon can and will only bond to metal while heated to very high temps. Basically what they were doing was giving a disclaimer for all of the polished and waxes hitting the market making claim after claim about how superior their product was just because it was supposed to contain Teflon. This came out about the time the debacle about PTFE resins and the Slick 50 product that also turned out to be a big farce." Even Eagle One took there wax products with Teflon off the market. Who are these "5 Star Shine" people trying to fool? Police highly recommend that you use thi...n their quotas.
