6219_Rules
Hi Woody,I would say it belongs to a 1956 Cadillac...I had a series 60 with exactly that tail light assembly. That's the best I can do!
michel88
Thanks Randall, I wish I had the rest of the car to go with the tail light!Woody
6219_Rules
I love the '56 Cadillac. I would trade or sell my '47 to get one. I had one but it was a total disaster. I still miss it.
jaxops
If you are selling it, I am restoring my 56 Cadillac Limousine 75 Series.Mark Monaghanjaxops@bellatlantic.net
Bob Kinker
Looks like the left taillight of a 48-56 Caddy. It opened up like that to expose the gas filler neck.
rocketraider
Didn't Guide lenses have the year cast into them back in those years? Something like Guidex-xxx-56? That said, I'm guessing somewhere from 54-56 going by the squared-off shape. Seems like earlier ones were more rounded in the crown area.
Guest
Definitely 1956 (on account of the chrome trim piece on the top edge, that is an extension of the chrome trim atop the rear fenders). It's also definitely the LH tail-light assembly (hinged to access the fuel filler)
