Guest Posted July 18, 2003 Share Posted July 18, 2003 I just purchased a Cad/LaSalle transmission. Can someone tell me how to identify the year and model of this gearbox? Is there a good illustrated parts breakdown available? And, there is a sleeve that the throwout bearing rides on and the sleeve slides freely on the main-drive spline. It covers the bearing when slid against the case, but nothing holds it there. It it supposed to be that way?
