8E45E Posted November 28 Posted November 28 There will be a class open to any Knight-engine cars next year. It will be nice to see at least one Russell-Knight in attendence!! Classes and Awards — Concours d'Elegance at Copshaholm Craig
alsancle Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Indiana? Good idea for a class. There are lots of cars that could be included, Voisin, Damilar, Panhard, Minerva, Stearns, Willys, Falcon, Brewster, etc. I LOVE my Stearns. 2

It will be nice to see at least one Russell-Knight in attendence!! Thanks for posting this Craig. As far as I know the list of "active" Russell-Knights is small. Just my 1910 and a 1911, both here in B.C. They're a long ways across the country and neither is really in "concours" condition. There are a couple (1913 and 1914) in museums - maybe the best candidate would be the '14 in the National Museum in Ottawa, if they could be convinced to get it there. But it would be nice to have some early Knights there. Maybe a Daimler or 1912-ish Stearns. Peter Edited November 28 by PFindlay (see edit history) 1

Andy Beckman, curator of the Studebaker National Museum is the individual who informed me of this last weekend while I was in Chicago. He stated its open to any car that came equipped with Knight engines, including all of the above. Yes, besides Russell-Knight, it would also be great to see some rarities including the Handley-Knight in the Gilmore Museum and the Sterling-Knight in the Packard National Museum attend as well.
