ak Posted November 13 Posted November 13 WTB: Delco distributor that uses two distributor caps to fire two plugs per cylinder simultaneously Thank you. John
edinmass Posted November 13 Posted November 13 (edited) You're asking a question that doesn't make sense........what application are you trying to fire? Early T Head engines use special magnetos. Very few vehicles use distributors with dual plugs. Your choices are fairly expensive vehicles except the Nash eight. Firetrucks are the most common use of dual distributors to fire dual plugs. So.....what exactly do you have? Edited November 14 by edinmass (see edit history) 1
Layden B Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Hispano-Suiza followed by Pierce-Arrow truck then Pierce-Arrow car Stutz units look like the Pierce truck 2
edinmass Posted November 14 Posted November 14 What you should be asking for is a dual distributor set up. Calling out a similar application and photos would also help. Why all the secrecy? Also, do you have a four, six, or eight? 1

Keep your comments to yourself.
Layden B Posted November 21 Posted November 21 Does this qualify as a "dual distributor setup"? 2 distributor caps but only 1 spark plug per cylinder, made by Delco for Twin Six Packard.
edinmass Posted November 21 Posted November 21 (edited) Two caps and two rotors 180 degrees offset…….I would call it dual distributors. There are Delco mags with stacked caps but only one rotor……….early stuff tends to be all over the place………by 1927 most things were normilized unless they were earlier designs that were held over……..
