Pat Curran Posted November 12 Posted November 12 (edited) I picked this up in Hershey back in the late 70’s. These were the days! Edited November 12 by Pat Curran Add picture (see edit history) 4 1
EmTee Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Pat, were these the MSRPs from GM, or Wilkie's prices? I'm guessing these are GM's suggested prices that the salesman would use during customer price negotiation. 1

RivNut Posted November 13 Posted November 13 (edited) Except for the Riviera base price there are only two items that apply to model 4747. Edited November 13 by RivNut (see edit history)

Unusual that the Special/Skylark Option List is longer than that for Full Size Buicks. I just went back and looked over the list of options for the Special/Skylark series. There are tons of options listed for that series that are also applicable to the Riviera. Power seats J2, tilt wheel, and many others. It could be that they are listed on the back.
RivNut Posted November 14 Posted November 14 This is on Team Buick’s website. A complete list of options for 1963 models. Too bad they didn’t do something similar for the other years. https://www.teambuick.com/reference/years/63/63_option_codes_regular.php

XframeFX Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Looking at options costing in the 3-Figures, the W8 4 BBL appears optional for Wildcat, Electra and standard for Riviera. So, the 2X4 W5 upgrade should've cost the difference. $188.13-48.38 = $139.75 but same full price for all 3 Phooey, I wouldn't have paid full price back in '64!
RivNut Posted November 14 Posted November 14 (edited) The W8 prices for the Wildcat and Electra are over and above the standard 401. The W5 prices are over and above what ever was standard. You didn't get credit for standard equipment, that was calculated into the optional price. What we don't know is what the over the counter price was for everything that went with the W5 option. Anyone want to figure out what all was different? I have a friend who had a 64 Electra with the W5 engine. On the other Buick forum there is a guy who has a '64 Estate Wagon that has the W5 option. What was the standard equipment transmission on the 44 and 46 models, a 3 speed manual? The ST400 cost you more. Edited November 14 by RivNut (see edit history) 1
