EmTee
Hmmm... What do you intend to tow with it? (Hint: It had better be small!)
Trulyvintage
Assuming there is a trailer hitch you can buy “ out of the box “ that will fit your vehicle U-Haul is the best place to have it installed … That vehicle is not engineered - designed or intended to be a towing platform … Jim Transporting To Travel Traveling To Share Stories From The Road
EmTee
That's a surprising amount of towing capacity for a Reatta! (I would have expected ~2,000 pounds maximum.) Even so, it still has a short wheelbase, so towing anything with a substantial profile could get very interesting on a windy day or when passed by large trucks or busses...
TAKerry
I suppose thats good enough for a small garden trailer or sailboat.
Barney Eaton
Buick published that the Reatta was not intended to tow....(I will look for the "official" statement) The Riviera with the same powertrain could be had with a trailer towing package. We believe the issue with the Reatta is mounting a hitch.....Buick never provided the structure . Yes a Reatta can tow but use caution when mounting a hitch. the picture is page 205 in the 1990 owner manual. I looked in the info I have on a 1990 Riviera and I was wrong above there is no indication the Riviera had a towing package.
