Pete Phillips Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Not a bad price for a running, driving, Pre-War Buick (Marquette). Not mine. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/869319035171960/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks

Buick35 Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Not bad for the price but what's up with the peeling paint on the engine block, head gasket leaking? I guess Marquettes had different engines than Buick s overhead valve ones.

I guess Marquettes had different engines than Buick s overhead valve ones. They did. They were flat 6’s. Green is the right color and I always thought it was cool that the block has MARQUETTE stamped into it. Does anyone remember which division provided the flat 6? Oldsmobile?
