I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1947 Packard Clipper Custom Super 2dr Club Sedan.

Note: The 1946-47 Packard Clipper Custom Supers were Packard's topline models.  The two-door Club Sedan have been researched and determined from serial numbers of surviving cars to have comprised only ~600 cars over the two model years for the 127" wb 21st Series out of a total 7,162, predominately four door touring sedans.  The Custom Super has the high-quality broadcloth upholstery, fanciest interior trim, nine-main-bearing 356" ci straight eight.  The red rubber clutch peddle pad indicates this car was originally equipped with Electro-matic Clutch.  The Clipper Super and Clipper Custom Super have CCCA Classic Status.  The survival rate of this model is in the few dozen.

It’s the Clipper to have, although I personally like the sedans at least as much.  It looks like a great candidate for restoration since it seems unmolested.  The price doesn’t seem totally crazy, but I can’t imagine what it would cost to restore.  If the interior is salvageable that would a huge plus.
