69merc Posted September 30 Posted September 30 The last letter car, and a handsome one too. Beautiful condition. No engine bay pics is a disappointment. Lots of work already done, just needs the AC fixed (when don't they?) Chrysler was at the top of its game in '65. Reasonable asking price, good color combo for the 300. Super find! 😎
Fossil Posted September 30 Posted September 30 White letter tires on this car? I think not. Sharp car otherwise. 2
Marty Roth Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Needs Freon ? Likely needs more than Freon, and repairs to wherever it leaked, and maybe a compressor, condenser, evaporator, hoses, lines, etc. Nice looking otherwise, but I'm not a fan of the black vinyl top. A serious cruiser, but not your economical grocery getter. I like this big, solid style. A friend with a 300G once claimed the "L" stood for "Less Muscle and Less Letter Car Than The Great Ones". 2
DavidinCA Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Other than the giant tach on the dash, it looks great. I just wonder what other upgrades the same person who decided on the tach thought were a good idea.
JamesR Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I agree with Fossil on the tires, but I do like the wheels, even though they look to be non-original. I usually don't like that type of arrangement, but they don't seem out of place on that car. Yes, the original wheel covers and steel wheels would be nice to have, too. I think this is a great car. Going to the Chrysler 300 show in Omaha recently has made me appreciate the non-finned 300's much more. 2
jframe Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I'd lose the big tach, lose the white letter tires, keep the wheels, and throw a set of redlines on it pretty fast. I think it would set the car off with the white/black combo. 2
