prewar40 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 The photo from keiser31 is a 1928 Model 95 The photos below are from a 1928 Model 95 roadster left and sedan right. Interesting that the one above is different than the one below. Listed as full walnut and 18 inches. What parts are you looking for? 1
AHa Posted September 29 Posted September 29 There is a guy who makes new steering wheels. I don't have his number but someone on here will.
DRM Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 thank you every one for your help so far, this picture is the assy. i have been asked to replicate by my customer. he has a 1928 gardner and is missing every thing. i replicate throttle and spark assemblies as shown on the gardner website as well as on my website //www.northwoodboatworks.com i have several of the parts but not all of them. if any one has any parts broken or not i build them out of bronze so they won't break any more. your help is appreciated. 1

AHa Posted October 1 Posted October 1 One option is Stutzman Wheel, Baltic, Ohio. They predominantly make wood wheels but also make wood steering wheels.
wayne sheldon Posted October 2 Posted October 2 If you are not familiar with Stutzman? Be prepared. Wonderful people and the workmanship is among the very best! But they are a bit difficult to get ahold of. Phone, land line only. And expect to leave a message. Sometimes takes awhile to get a return call.
DRM Posted October 2 Author Posted October 2 thank you wayne, no i have not heard of him before but as you say his reviews are great. i deal with amish around here there are several types of amish the trick is to learn their way of life and work with what they tell you. each group may do things differently in around their beliefs just ask them how to work with their schedules.
