Mr Buck
I am in need of a low mileage Reatta transmission or a complete rebuild kit if available.
Barney Eaton
Any transmission that is on a 1988-1990 GM car with a 3800 V6 engine is the same. There should be hundreds of thousands of them out there. One small difference would be the final drive ratio. The Reatta had a 2:97, some other GM vehicles with a towing package might have a 3:08 but you will not notice the difference. In 1991 the Reatta went to the electronic version of the transmission and its final drive was 3:

2seater
While it is true the transaxles will interchange, there were updates each model year making the 1990 or later 4T60, non electronic transaxle the most desirable.
