shanezwarg Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Just qurious, I have a 64 riviera built in October 1964. Bye October id think the 1965s were in production.
Riviera63 Posted September 25 Posted September 25 A 10 on the data plate would be October of 1963. Bill 3
Seafoam65 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 No way your car was built then.......my Dad's 65 Riviera which he special ordered in June 1964 arrived in our hands the second week of September. No Rivieras were built in October 1964 because the Flint plant was in the middle of a GM worker's strike that was going on that entire month.
RivNut Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Look at the FB number on your data plate. Buick limited the number od Rivieras sold in 1963 to 40,000 units (that’s exactly how many were built and sold.) Your FB number should be way below 40,000 if your car was built in October 1962. 1
riv2x4 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 My 64 is one of the last 300 or so built, with an 07D code, 4th week of July 64.
