Price dropped. 1940 Buick 80 90 series front backing plates, drums that have been sleeved and new brake shoes. There are two of these.  Part number on drum, 1298217  $50 plus $35 shipping due to weight.

These do not look like they are 1940. Can’t tell what you have just what you don’t have.

WOW WE MADE THE DEAL AND THEY WERE DELIVERED yesterday. super great parts for a 1940 Limited. Done deal and thanks to 36 GMC!! Guess buick used rear drums/backing plated shoes etc  from the trucks!!??

The 36GMC used the same rear brakes as a 36 Chevrolet truck.  Small in comparison. I bought a 37 GMC panel delivery project in  Alberta Canada and the Buick drums somehow came with the deal but of no clue what they were.  I'm happy you are happy with the parts!
