John_S_in_Penna Posted September 23 Posted September 23 I like the car, but not the $40,000 price. Is this maybe a $20,000 car--following the all-too-common practice of asking double the actual value? 1
DavidinCA Posted September 23 Posted September 23 It’s very nice, but all the money and then some. I don’t love the Sabre’s on it, but you could probably sell them for less than the cost of correct wheels and caps. It seems like Eldorado money to me.

Terry Y Posted September 23 Posted September 23 $40,000.00 is a lot of money to spend on a 60's 4-door. There are so many choices in the market place for that type of money. That said, could you imagine the cost of restoring the interior on this car? Not considering the top, trim and paint. If the seller is in a rush to liquidate the Cadillac, he/she will likely have to cut the price. If he/she is in no rush to sell, I bet they get asking or very close to it, the person who buys this car probably will not care how much it costs.

But the 65 was more restrained than the 66. 1
jj5794 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Ad was updated and now states $28,000. The paint, as pictured, is outstanding. Fabulous interior (floor mats aside) and vinyl top. Beautifully chromed Sabre wheels. In 1966, the Brougham was a subseries of the Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special. Overall, the epitome of mid 1960's elegance. Jim Vesely ROA # 7437 BCA # 39477 2 1
