AMT Camaro

I was hoping this would be a 68 annual model but have been told it's a modified 67 that was released in 68.  Not sure what I will do with it.

I bought that Camaro convertible kit new.  MPC got the promotional contract for the 1968 model year, so AMT speculated as to what the 1968 Camaro would look like since they weren't provided the blueprints that MPC had access to.  The kit came with the incorrect 1967 Camaro SS grille instead of the revised 1968 version, as well as a few other errors.   It's still a decent kit.  I sold or junked mine decades ago.

 

By the way, the AMT 1968 (Impala) SS427 hardtop kit has its own issues for the reasons described above.
