Reynard
Had to be after Prohibition ended... Edited September 8 by Reynard (see edit history)
wayne sheldon
If I recall correctly, prohibition ended in 1933. It was one of the first things FDR did after becoming president. The near car appears to be mid to late 1930s. The model A Ford is a 1930/'31. I wonder where that photo was taken? Meadow Gold was a brand of dairy products going back quite a few years in California. I don't know how many other states it might have been in? I remember Meadow Gold from the upper midwest in the late 60s (St Joseph MO). Reverse search turned up the Hotel Capital at 139 N. 11th St Lincoln NE, still standing... Looks different so it may be incorrectly associated with the photo or the build has had some changes over the years.
