GrumpyJim
Purchased this Fiero GT from the Original owner in 2016. It was last on the road in 1996. When acquired it had 41,000 miles on it. Currently has 48,000. Outside of changing tires, brakes and calipers, and battery, everything else is original. It still has the original cooling hoses, plugs and wires. I was able to do some paint correction to bring the original finish back to life and detail the interior. Equipped with the original AM/FM Cassette radio, AC, power windows and 5 speed transmission. This would be an excellent candidate for HPOF or Driver Participation classes.
Dodge55Royal
There are a lot of classy and very unselfish guys who own Fieros. If you don't believe me then watch this 6 minute video. You might want to have some tissues handy at the end.... Edited August 29 by Dodge55Royal (see edit history)

TAKerry
I love it! Why not point judge? Def could go HPOF. My wife bought one new in '86 but it was a base model. Steel wheels and no a/c. Manual transmission. She didnt know how to drive stick at the time and I had to trade her my firebird in the interim. I will never buy her a car again without A/C!! Great fun car to drive around in. I loved the look of the GT's. I wouldnt mind having a pace car in the garage. My old neighbor had a car identical to yours. It was parked in the corner of their garage and never moved. The wife bought the car new, I would doubt it has more than a few thousand miles on it. Mom lives almost beside them and I am in that 'hood a couple of times a week. If it were not for her insane husband (one of the big reasons why I moved in the first place) I would have to inquire about it. I am sure its one of those that will never be sold and will sit rotting away.

Looks like 27q Production 1986-1987 if that is correct. My question is. If or when the Fiero would begin to win Grille Badges. Where would I place them? LOL A Fiero does not have a traditional grille.
TAKerry
I was at a local show this summer and there was a beautiful fiero original condition, albeit not any better looking than yours. He had his grill badge mounted under the front hood visible when the hood was open. I have seen the same technique applied to a fellow with a dodge daytona wing car.
EmTee
Typically I see people use one of these AACA mounting brackets attached to a front license plate screw. https://store.aaca.org/vehicles/badges.html

EmTee
16 hours ago, GrumpyJim said: I would have to respectfully decline. I agree, but a Fiero does limit the available options when it comes to mounting an AACA medallion without damage to the car. Another option might be double-sided (foam) tape somewhere on the front bumper/splitter. It needs to be visible to the captain of the judging team at an event, so maybe just mount it temporarily when attending. The brass mounting tag would make that easy to do. TAKerry
Under the hood on a flat surface is visible to the judging team. Again I have seen Wing car Daytonas with senior badges mounted this way.
