human-potato_hybrid
1923 Model T, runs and drives but service history is questionable/unknown. Was off the road for 10 years or so until recently. We just got done replacing the starter and some minor tweaks. Anyone familiar with these I would appreciate if you could lend your opinion. FYI, the engine is warmed up and the temp is normal. About 40% throttle and mostly advanced as shown. Choke is a bit out otherwise it does not really run. The second video where it is lighter out, the engine was colder but had been running a couple minutes already. 1906 lozier
sounds good to me.. need to get into high gear instead of low..did not sound like the spark advance was doing anything sitting there in the driveway. but it sounds correct in the running phase. human-potato_hybrid
Thanks @1906 lozier. Probably it needs some sort of adjustment.... We did notice there is a bit of a ticking sound and sometimes it's clearly only running on 3 cylinders. Maybe just a sticking valve that will go away with time? JFranklin
He said it had brakes, why run the stop sign? It does sound like a T. Add some Marvel Mystry Oil to the gas. It frees up sticking valves and rings.

He's not good at driving it 😆 I believe the correct technique is to throttle down fully then apply the brakes and bump the throttle up to idle position as you come to a stop.
