Larry Schramm
I came across this letter dated Oct, 1914 and found it interesting to see the price of used parts 100 years ago. Does anyone have similar communications letter in the early years of the auto?
wayne sheldon
That is really neat! Imagine most people today, if they suddenly had to do business that way?
Walt G
Larry this is great, it is all a part of the "big picture" of what was taking place in that era. This evidence of history is often discarded but really presents us all with a down to earth picture of what life was like, how people thought and acted. Thank you for taking the time to share Walt
Nate Dort
I posted this in my main rebuild thread, but I have this letter that came with my '21 Dort. J. Dallas Dort died in May, 1925 and the Flint assembly plant had already been sold to AC Spark Plug at this point. The company was still supporting owners, but I'm not sure how much longer this continued.
