Pfeil, I trust your judgement.

Thank you.

dodge28 Pontiac's first engine the split head six (a inline six with two cylinder heads) (1926-1932) and the Oakland/Pontiac V-8 (Pontiac only 1932) and Pontiac engineer Ben Anibal who designed the Pontiac Straight Eight 1933-1954 and the variation of the straight eight Pontiac's straight six (two of the eights cylinders lopped off) were not cross flow but were flathead design (the exception of flathead would be the 1932 Pontiac V-8 meaning that it's head design/block was multi angled and not completely flat but also not crossflowed. Pontiac's OHC six of 1966-1969 also was not a crossflow head. The only real Pontiac 4 cylinder besides the Indy 4 would be the Iron Duke 1977-1993 and it is a crossflow head design.

FYI, exhaust and intake that enter and exit the same direction is called a reverse flow head or in the flathead's case a reverse flow block.
