Rod P
Greetings, as the title suggests, I would like to request a Lexington section being formed please, as I have some information, and others have also posted over the years. As no dedicated section exists, all this information is hard to find, or lost? I am happy to search forum if approved, and provide links to mods as to what should possibly included in this section. Thank you in advance, Rod. 1 Link to comment

Rod P
This post was a request to the mods to consider having a Lexington section in USA car makers, as none exists. Your sale post and any pics should go in the correct section. https://forums.aaca.org/forum/145-parts-for-sale/ Thanks, Rod. 1 Link to comment
Peter Gariepy
I’ve never heard of a Lexington. Will the forum get any traffic? Explain. 36000 total built according to Wikipedia. is there a club or registry out there? or a Facebook group? all I find when I search for Lexington car club is a used car dealer in nj. 1 Link to comment
Rod P
Thanks Peter. Don't know of any Lexington automobile club, or registry that exists, or did exist, at least not that I have found. Facebook doesn't mean much to me, nor to most older car enthusiasts that I know. Some Lexington examples are in museums , mainly in America, but there are known examples worldwide, and of course those in private collections, that sometimes resurface to be sold, and then disappear again. This forum to me is the best source of general and specific information of any American made car, and quite a few 'overseas' makers. The Domestic makes and models section shows those makers not affiliated with ? or absorbed by the bigger manufacturers. It might seem presumptuous asking for a Lexington section, as most in this section run into many pages of postings, but some, and without belittling them at all, only run to 1 page of entries. (And of course I don't think that they should be deleted because of that.) Or another approach might be to add an 'Others' section to Domestic makes and models, and there could be added Lexington, or any other orphan brands that members wished to post about under their maker's names sub-titles. This forum by design (and default) has become a most precious source of automobile history, that shows the cars developmental journey to where it is today. I encourage any members with knowledge and information on the forgotten makers that they think can possibly help those who wish to collect and restore in the future, to do so before this knowledge is lost. To me this is a big part of the AACA interactive Time capsule. Thank you again, Rod. Link to comment
1920 lexington engine4SALE
Thank you rod , I am not trying to post in areas that are reserved for other topics , just don't quite understand all the rules , quickly would like to add that in my most current attempt to gain more knowledge about this engine ,I have learned that there was a time during the demise of one manufacture to another that these lexington/ ansted cars may have been marketed as a Ansted instead of Lexington, are you familiar with this ? Peter Gariepy
This topic is not the right place to discuss Lexington. The topic and subform state: it's a forum technical question. Start a topic in the general discussion about Lexington and use it to exchange info. If it gets enough usage then I'll gladly start a subforum. 1 Link to comment
