Steve_Mack_CT
Both restored/serviced by Red Liener of R&L Model A. Pay a little more and get a LOT more car. I really should buy the green one. Anyone looking for a nice A in Southern NE owes it to themselves to check these cars out. 3
Reynard
You really gotta like Model A coupes to pay those prices if you are out West. Seems like A and T prices are falling out here maybe due to drivability concerns, congestion on the roads and idiot drivers. Even a lot of the back roads are turning into road-race courses where you used to be able to get away from the traffic.
TAKerry
A few years ago I was seriously looking for that 'right Model A' to buy. I was in no rush and checked classifieds almost daily. The longer I took the more the prices started to fall. It got to where a really nice coupe could be had for 15k or less. I got that itch out of my system (for the time being anyway) and it has been awhile since I have checked on them. About a month ago I decided to look around for the heck of it and found that the prices seemed to be rising on them. I dont know if its just inflation or what. These two look very nice. I dont know the owner but if Steve M says they are good cars I would take his word on it. May be worth paying a bit of a premium knowing what you are getting. Like anything car related if one was a serious buyer you could probably get them down a little but I wouldnt squabble over a thousand bucks on a nicely restored, reliable model a.
Steve_Mack_CT
Your kind Kerry but credit to Red at R&L who is into his 90s now and not all that active anymore. He ran a small A only restoration/service hobby/business locally for a long time and his work on these cars was second to none. A zillion As out there in the $12k range with decent paint and trim but worn out mechanically. That's the difference. Of course here in CT we are lucky to have Pat's Restorations in Monroe CT - a great shop as well.

On little country road, we had a flipped van, a vehicle ran off the road at a high speed and another ran a stop sign, went up a steep ditch bank and into a bean field....all in one weekend. It is nuts the way people drive when they think they are on less traveled country roads.
