Sgt Art Posted June 19, 2003 Share Posted June 19, 2003 I have an opportunity to buy a 72 Linc MkIV in very nice condition. Clean car. I'm guessing the car has a points type distributor which I'd probably want to remove and replace with a breakerless HEI system. I am a GM type guy and have no experience with Ford engines and ignition systems. I know this is an easy swap on most GM cars a drop in. Is the same true with Ford?
