1956 Chrysler Imperial ** This is a beautiful car that is powered with a 353 V8 engine and automatic transmission. Runs and drives very nice. The body is very straight and solid. The paint has a nice shine to it, but couple small flaws. Underneath the car is nice as well. The interior is great on the car. (Note, the front seat is going touched up new pictures are coming) The speedometer is inop. The wipers work, town and country radio works, headlamps work, all the power windows work. Driver door glass has crack. Power seat works forward and back. Blower motor is working. Miles are shown at 25,965. This is a great driver car that you can enjoy and be proud to show off. Make this unbeatable deal yours before its gone.

Beautiful car. The color really sets it off. On the right side, is the front or the rear the original color? The color difference can be seen at the door opening even in the video.

There's what looks like a crack in the body filler above the right rear wheel. Part of the dash has been repainted and the front seam in the front seat is coming apart. Leather is aging badly. The engine sounds good and from what I can tell from the video the transmission is shifting nicely. Drivers window is badly cracked and the power seat doesn't go up and down like it should. The radio puts out static but not sure it's working correctly. The seal in the differential is leaking and possibly a leak in the engine or transmission. Hard to tell where the oil is coming from. Looks like all the air-conditioning system is present but only a pressure test will tell if it's leaking. Hopefully the compressor is in good condition.

Unfortunately this could be a $40.000 dollar car with about $25,000 put into it. Maybe.

Two things, The guy is not afraid to post a lot of good photos and a video. He should be commended for that. These cars are Beautiful. I think these Chryslers are far and above better looking than the 56' Lincoln and Cadillacs.

I didn't look at all the photos. These were just the things that stood out to me. I've never picked a car apart like this before on here and hopefully I won't do it again but this just looked so nice at first glance.

I saw that too. Couldn't tell if it was a reflection or what, but like you said, it's in the video, as well. Other than that, I also like the color.

I like everything about these cars except those 'gunsight' tail lamps...  I can't help but think how much cleaner it would look by removing them and modifying the  backup lights to hold red bulbs...

I’m not a fan of those tail lights either but the rest of the car makes me forget about them. Wonder how they hold up in some of the car washes?

From a fan of the '55-56 Imperial tail lights, just a comment that I would never consider taking my '55 Newport through a modern commercial car wash!!!  (Though I believe the castings are up to the never-envisioned-when-new challenge of surviving said abuse.)   I doubt we will find anyone trying this.
