Ed Luddy
Very nice! I think this shade is called "Coral Sand" . Us hillbilly's in Canada called it "Salmon" I do really like the condition of this and the interior. The Thunderbird Special 312 is the icing.
1957Birdman
I too have liked the Coral Sand/ Colonial White 1957 Fords. One thing I will observe is about the engine this car has. I think it is possible that it is a 272 CID Y-Block that someone added dual exhausts to later. My dad’s 57 had a 292 with automatic rated at 212 HP. The valve covers said Thunderbird Special Y-8 even though it was a single exhaust car. The 312 came from the factory with dual exhausts, 4 barrel carburetor, and a special badge on the outside of the glove compartment door, which this car lacks. It is a very nice car, although it is lightly optioned. Lew Bachman 1957 Thunderbird 4

It's been over 50 years since I've had one, and it was an Oakville Ontario Canada built car. We always had subtle differences across border. Usually less trim and options.
kingrudy
You cannot go wrong with any automobile that came out in 1957. IMO the very best line up for all of the major brands. Great looking car and good luck to the buyer and seller. Just looked at Facebook and there is another car posted that looks identical to this beautiful Ford for 14K. Same color combination. Coincidence? Edited May 23 by kingrudy (see edit history)

Packard and Studebaker were slipping fast.
Fossil
My Grand parents had a 56 Ford 2dr Ranch wagon this color or close to it which they purchased new. I was under the impression it had a 312 in it. Was that possible?

Yes, the 312 was available later in the 1956 model year.

I would disagree with you regarding the '57 Studebaker Hawk series.
