Leif in Calif
I always thought Snipe was an odd bird to name a car after...its a small and pretty unremarkable shore bird. On the other hand I remember Sterling Moss talking about driving a Super Snipe in the '50s.
classiclines
Trivia... The Australians named an awfully large ship on the small unremarkable bird... It transports liquefied natural gas at -256 def F. pkhammer
If anyone thinks a Snipe hunt would be fun, the season is always in here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Just let us know and I'll round up some buddies to come along and help chase the Snipes into a bag. This is generally done in the dark of night and is great fun. Come on out and we will allow any newcomers the privilege of holding the bag. No license is necessary. 1
