I have very reluctantly decide to put up for sale my pride and joy, for the next steward to baby her. I bought this AMAZING original top of the line 1954 Dodge Royal over a year ago after the previous Dodge collector did the brakes and put radials on it, driving it about 400 miles. The original mileage now stands at 29,300. Originally sold in Oklahoma. I am crazy about this car. The only reason I am selling it is I now have  the Dodge and a 1952 Nash Rambler Country Club in my climate controlled mancave and two cars simply take up too much space in it. The Dodge is bigger, and thus takes up more space. The Nash is restored but not original like the Dodge and thus the Dodge must have special attention, not left in the sun, etc. The Dodge is a show, HPOF, and special occasion car due to its originality. The paint is mostly original. The hood, deck lid and right front fender are the only areas repainted years ago with lacquer paint, and almost perfectly blend in with the original paint. Dodge made the 241 CI real hemi motor only in 1953 and 1954 and went to the poly motor in 1955 as they were cheaper to produce. This is a smaller version of the mighty Chrysler 331 CI hemi that took the automotive world by storm beginning in 1951. Both motors are rare to find now, as hot rodders like my friend Big Daddy Don Garlits used them in drag racing in the late 1950s. The Dodge accelerates as a hemi should. The car also has a desirable speed manual shift on the column rather than an automatic, as normally found on Royals. The car starts and runs beautifully and it can barely be heard in idle. The trans. shifts as new and the brakes and steering are great. The seats and door panels are virtually mint as it has had plastic seat covers from new. I am a sucker for clear seat covers! The dash is mint. Very desirable two tone green colors. The only negative I can report is that once the car warms up it smells a little as there is a small grease or oil area on the very back on the drivers exhaust manifold. Engine compartment is super clean and original. Original spare. Guys this is the 1950s car to have and show and make AACA members jealous with it originality. I have exactly $13,900 in the car including the shipping to me. Price is $13,900 FIRM. Please do not buy this car unless you will respect its originality. No trades. Clear title. I can assist with East Coast shipping. Lots of photos by email for serious inquiries. Stored in Ocala,Fla. Thanks! I was aware of the class but didn't know it's formal name or acronym.
