100 years apart. Estimate 1920’s?

Recommended Posts

I tried to stand in the exact same spot. I estimate about 100 years apart.  Looking at the early cars am in the right period? 1924-ish? Thx.

Photo being taken in Canada confuses the dating issue a bit. The nearest car, a model T Ford touring car, has a slanted windshield and a one-man top. In USA production, the first year for those features was 1923. However, those features showed up in Canadian production somewhat earlier, in 1920. All other cars also appear to be early 1920s. So, regardless, the photo was likely taken between 1920 and probably before 1925.

Nice then and now comparison. Thank you.

Looks close to correct spot.  The top photo with the house just left of the two/three gable roof looks the same in both pictures.

Despite its age, that house would be worth close to $2 million where it is!!

2 million ? , waterfront on White Rock beach, you wish ! There's one for sale at the moment, a block up the hill from the beach . 3 Mill. and one further West on a bigger lot than most of the places along the beach proper. Waterfront , but high bank, 6 Mill.

Do Canadians not age? They look younger

We have to look younger to convince the banks that we can pay off the entire mortgage in full before we are dead!!
