Clutch disc buick serie 67 sedan

Recommended Posts

The clutch you have is interesting, it is not original factory, but it might work ok and be capable of relining, but the photos seem to imply the lining is ok per Buick specs.

Do you know the lining thickness on each side of the metal plate?

The original factory 60 series had 10 springs to absorb the shock loading from engagement, ref photo below.

It doesn't preclude using unsprung clutch plates like the one you have, provided the driver is gentle when using the clutch pedal.

I used https://fortwayneclutch.com/ to reline my clutch, and they were easy to work with and fast and economical.

Muchas gracias por la información.

Mi caso es más difícil. El centro de mi disco está roto y necesito otro disco. No creo que sea buena idea soldar las estrías al resto del disco.

Thank you very much for the information.
My case is more difficult. The center of my disc is broken and
I need another disc. I don't think it's a good idea to weld the
splines to the rest of the disc.

Greetings
